Meet Dr. Jessica Yates
Jessica Yates, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who strives to provide excellent, personalized care while making every patient feel valued, heard, and cared for. Her philosophy is simple: treat every patient as you would your own family. She enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and partnering with them to develop individualized treatment plans that help them feel confident and comfortable.
Dr. Yates has a special interest in treating a wide range of complex dermatologic conditions, including hidradenitis suppurativa, psoriasis, and connective tissue disease. She also has expertise in aesthetic dermatology, including neurotoxins and fillers.
Prior to joining Cornerstone Dermatology Dr. Yates completed her undergraduate and medical education at the University of Missouri – Columbia (M-I-Z!). She then went on to complete her Dermatology Residency at Tulane University in New Orleans where she received comprehensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of dermatologic disease – and developed a lasting appreciation for the city’s incredible food and culture.
Outside of the office, Dr. Yates enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, and their cat, Lilo. She loves hiking, baking, reading, painting, and crocheting, as well as spending time with friends and family and exploring new restaurants around Kansas City.
